Job Title: Primary Care Physician

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for all age groups, focusing on primary care.
- Diagnose and treat patients, maintaining the highest standards of medical care.
- Make referrals for patients requiring services beyond our offerings.
- Supervise physician assistant(s) or nurse practitioner(s) when assigned.
- Assist in training staff on selected topics as necessary.
- Complete medical charts promptly and according to established procedures.
- Adhere to our policies and procedures regarding lab and diagnostic results, as well as after-hours calls.
- Attend meetings, workshops, and conferences required by our organization.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and internal quality control audits.
- Provide patient education and serve as a resource for other staff on medical matters.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and accessibility.
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer to provide leadership and medical direction.
- Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by our
organization.
Requirements:
- M.D. or D.O. with a valid license to practice in Texas.
- Thorough knowledge of medical principles and practices.
- Board eligibility in Family Practice or Internal Medicine (certification desirable).
- Current DEA, DPS, and other necessary certificates.
- Current CPR course completion card (Level C).
- Strong communication skills in English (Bilingual in Spanish optional).
- Ability to navigate electronic medical records and computer programs.
- Commitment to continuous learning and compliance with all CME requirements.
- Eligibility for FTCA coverage.
- Successful completion of our credentialing process.
