Job Description


​The Mission Neighborhood Health Center is a non-profit, multi-site community health organization offering comprehensive health services in the Mission and Excelsior Districts of San Francisco. The center offers primary health care services, adult medicine, pediatrics, family planning, OB/GYN, HIV, and homeless services. They are dedicated to building health equity through the provision of culturally- and linguistically competent services with a focus on the Latinx Spanish-speaking communities. MNHC is committed to a culture of excellence and financial success as they fulfill its mission to provide health care access for all.




The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides strategic leadership for the organization by working with the Board of Directors and the Executive Leadership Team to establish long range goals, strategies, plans, and policies.




The CEO is responsible for leading all aspects of organization-wide strategic endeavors, including organizational culture and people management, financial management, operations management, clinical services, external partnerships, community relations, and fundraising. The CEO leads in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, the organization’s by-laws, Board policies, and contractual obligations. Driven by the Mission and core values of the organization, the CEO is the primary face and voice of the organization to a wide variety of stakeholders.




Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of Mission Neighborhood Health Center are put into practice and reflected throughout the organization.
  • Ensure the successful achievement of the organization’s strategic initiatives by providing leadership, oversight, evaluation, and direction.
  • Establish long-term financial sustainability by building on existing revenue models, and strategically assessing growth opportunities and new revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with the executive management team to develop and implement long and short-term goals, and effective and efficient business practices and systems designed to accommodate the objectives of the organization.
  • Utilize data to monitor, evaluate and continuously improve operations and outcomes.

Ena is a young professional working toward the lofty goal of helping everyone. She is the proud holder of a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, giving her knowledge of human behavior and needs. Ena has compassion and a strong sense of duty regarding underserved communities, with especially strong ties to Asian American immigrants and to the LGBTQIA+ community.

Originally from Florida, she enjoys kayaking and hiking in her free time. Ena also is a member of a non-profit organization that hosts a community choir.
