Job Description
Job Title: Chief Medical Officer
Compensation: $250K - $300K
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as an active member of the administrative team by providing strategic direction and leadership for our clinical programs and services, aligning them with HealthPoint's mission, vision, values, and strategic goals.
- Develop and provide ongoing oversight for clinic services as part of the clinical team. Establish and monitor clinical quality metrics and performance indicators to ensure the provision of safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
- Implement and oversee quality improvement initiatives, including clinical audits, peer reviews, and adherence to clinical guidelines.
- Foster a culture of patient safety, risk management, and continuous quality improvement throughout our organization.
- Recruit, credential, and oversee a team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff.
- Develop and direct medical education programs for the benefit of our clinic medical staff and facility.
Minimum Requirements:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas as an M.D. or D.O. Board certification in their specialty.
- DEA certification
- Previous experience in a CMO or Medical Director position preferred. Minimum 5 years of related
- experience, including clinical and supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience working with individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Experience with culturally appropriate and trauma informed care.
- Experience working at a federally qualified health center or clinic that serves medically underserved areas and populations preferred.
- Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
