​​​Chief Medical Officer




Become a vital part of this organization's success in improving access to underserved communities through a physician leadership position overseeing their 7 clinic locations along the coast of South Carolina.




Responsibilities:

Administrative Hours: 24 hours per week; Patient Care: 16 hours per week

Functions as the clinical leader for all ambulatory health and primary care services. Provide clinical oversight and direction to all clinical support services, including lab, radiology, pharmacy, and related functional areas.

Ensures that the mission and goals of the organization are realized through the professional and effective delivery of integrated health care solutions.

Provide direct and appropriate clinical care and treatment to patients in specialty areas as assigned.
  • Not averse to working as single provider at times.
  •  Outpatient procedures (minor injections, gyn, etc.); willing to learn other procedures.
  • Willing to travel to other sites for meetings, vacation coverage, etc.

Benefits:

Paid-time -off: 4 weeks

CME: 1 work week and $3,000 expense allowance

Education, Experience, Licensure/Certification, and Skills/Abilities Related Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical college is required.


• Board certified in the required specialty; South Carolina license to practice medicine.


• Experience in Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) preferred.

• Ensure the ability to bill through Medicaid and Medicare with no history of fraud

• Hold valid Federal DEA licensing





Compensation: $205,000 - $250,000
