We are hiring a Dental Director!




We are hiring a Dental Director to join our exceptional Clinical Leadership Team within our Integrated Health Center in Eastern Connecticut. This position involves delivering quality-focused Oral Health care services to patients of all ages in our rural underserved communities. As an Oral Health Leader at our organization, you will work closely with our professional Dental providers and team support staff to provide age-appropriate oral health care. You will collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and other Leadership Team members of Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, and Administration in a team-based approach to patient care.

This position reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer.

 




We offer strong compensation and robust benefit packages:





Compensation:     $190,000 - $230,000 DOE




Schedule:              5 days, Monday through Friday

 

Operational Hrs:   Monday through Thursday – 8:00 am to 7:00 pm

                                 Friday’s – 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

                                 1st and 3rd Saturdays 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Closed every Sunday and Holidays

Requirements:

·          Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry and possession of either a D.D.S. or D.M.D degree

·          5 years of experience in a position of leadership of other providers and support staff

·          Possess or be able to obtain a license to practice dentistry in the State of Connecticut

·          Possess or be able to obtain an active DEA Certificate

·          Clinical experience serving low-income and uninsured patients

 

Preferred Requirements:

·          7 years of experience in a position of leadership of other providers and support staff

·          Local knowledge and connections to community-based health care and social resources are desirable

·          Bilingual English/Spanish

Originally from Flint, Michigan, Kevin served in the US Army as a Military Police officer. After being discharged as a disabled veteran, Kevin returned to Michigan and obtained a degree in Criminal Justice. He then worked in the healthcare field for 13 years in fields including; EMS, ED and Private Practice. He also taught both clinical and administrative courses at two colleges in the Portland Metropolitan Area.
