​​Our Dental Clinic is seeking a General Dentist to serve our Integrated Health Center patients. You would be a member of a patient care team consisting of Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Dentists, Hygienists, and Behavioral Health professionals to care for the patients of our communities in South-Eastern, Connecticut.

We offer a robust compensation package with:
·      Salary: Competitive salary range $160,000 - $180,000 DOE
·      Benefits:
o  Paid Time Off:
§ PTO – 4 weeks / 20 days / 160 hours
§ Sick Leave – 7 days / 56 hours
§ Holiday – 7 days / 56 hours
§ CDE – 5 days / 40 hours + $3,000 reimbursement
§ Other – Jury Duty, Military Leave, Bereavement Leave
o  Medical, Dental and Vision plans available and
o  401K – Employer contributes up to 5% of your annual compensation
§ Deferral plan available
o  Other – Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life and AD&D Insurance covered by Employer

Summary:Â Â Â Â Â Â
Responsible for overall patient dental services at the Center. Performs professional dental care in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Assists with administrative functions of planning and directing the dental programs within the dental department. Expected to consistently work to ensure patient satisfaction and maintain positive relationships with other dentists, physicians, and staff to help support the delivery of quality patient care. Performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission of our Integrated Health Clinic.

Minimum Requirements:
·      Completion of an accredited DDS or DMD program
·      Completion of an accredited BDS or MDS and an accredited eligible residency program
·      Possess or be eligible to obtain a license to practice dentistry in the state of Connecticut
·      Possess or be eligible to obtain a DEA certificate
Â
Preferred Additional Requirements:
·      Completion of an approved Dental Residency Program
o  General Practice Residency (GPR) or
o  Advanced Education General Dentist (AEGD)
o  Pediatric Residency Program (Pedodontics)
·      1+ year experience treating patients in an outpatient dental program
·      Experience working with underserved patient populations
o  May be obtained during school clinical program, volunteering, mission work or by other means

Originally from Flint, Michigan, Kevin served in the US Army as a Military Police officer. After being discharged as a disabled veteran, Kevin returned to Michigan and obtained a degree in Criminal Justice. He then worked in the healthcare field for 13 years in fields including; EMS, ED and Private Practice. He also taught both clinical and administrative courses at two colleges in the Portland Metropolitan Area.
Kevin made a move from podium to recruiting in 2007 to assist professionals obtain and advance their careers and recognize their dreams.
