​​JOB TITLE: Executive Clinician (CMO)




Join our exciting Nurse Managed FQHC! A Nurse Practitioner started this FQHC over 30 years ago and, to this day, remains managed and operated by Nurses! We are an integrated healthcare organization with a heavy emphasis on Behavioral Health patients. 




COMPENSATION: Starting salary range is $140,000, depending on experience




JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • In collaboration with the Executive Director and Compliance Manager, ensures compliance with all Federal/HRSA, State, Local, and other grant requirements.
  • Maintains current knowledge regarding today’s healthcare environment, including all FPCN clinical disciplines
  • Collaborates with the Clinical Directors, develops, implements, and evaluates all clinical policies and procedures
  • Collaborates with Clinical Directors to ensure that the Clinical Departments are operating effectively and efficiently
  • Works collaboratively with the Director of Finance to ensure fiscally sound practices within the FPCN Clinical Departments
  • Works collaboratively with FPCNs Executive Team to ensure effective development, implementation, and communication of FPCNs policies and procedures
  • Member of the FPCN Executive Team
  • Supervision of all FPCN Clinical Directors
  • Represent FPCN to outside agencies and entities in the Executive Clinician role
  • Coordinate monthly meetings with Clinical Department leadership 
  • Coordinate QI efforts for clinical departments, set network goals, and promote clinical departmental accountability
  • Works collaboratively with the Quality, Manager, P4P Manager, and Clinical Directors on all required clinical data reporting
  • Serve as a clinical resource to all departments Liaison to RHD for matters involving FPCN Clinical Leadership 
  • Value, understand and ensure each of the clinical departments of FPCN (clinical care, operations, staffing model, budget/fiscal, etc.) provides high-quality, trauma-informed, antiracist, evidenced-based care
  • Increase integration among clinical disciplines in collaboration with all Clinical Directors. Represent the clinical voice of all disciplines in decision-making (grants, programs, operations, staffing, budget/fiscal, etc.)
  • In partnership with all Clinical Departments, promote and advocate for clinicians, clinical staff, and clinical practice internally to support healthcare professionals. Represent/advocate for FPCN clinical professions to external partners or governing bodies to advance and influence clinical practice at the local, regional, and state levels.
  • Clinically practices at least one day/week
  • Assumes responsibility for other duties as assigned


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Current Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license and/or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license
  • Experience working in an integrated healthcare facility with multiple clinical disciplines, specifically Dental, Primary Care, Behavioral Health
  • At least five years of experience in healthcare management
  • Experience with pediatrics, adults, and managing chronic conditions is a must
  • Extensive experience working in Behavioral Health is a must
  • Leadership and management skills necessary to work effectively within a system, influence results, motivate individuals and teams, and resolve problems in a diplomatic, professional manner.
  • Excellent relationship, oral and written communication, persuasion, negotiation, and presentation skills. The candidate must be able to clearly articulate factual and advisory information to all levels of staff, executives, the boards of directors, and others and garner related support.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. A personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of FPCN.

She has also effectively recruited for Providence and Kaiser in the Portland Area for Acute Care & Skilled Nursing Communities RN’s and RN’s throughout Oregon before making the transition to UHC.
