Job Description

‚ÄčJoin our team as a Physician! General Summary:We are seeking a Physician to deliver quality medical care to patients and contribute as a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct Patient Care:
  • Examine, diagnose, and prescribe treatment plans for patients.
  • Coordinate referrals for specialty care services and review lab and x-ray reports.
  • Maintain patient health records and provide follow-up instructions.
  • Ensure patient and family education about diagnosis and care plans.
  • Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs.



Policy Development:
  • Contribute to the review, development, and training of patient care policies.



Continued Education:
  • Stay current with medical and healthcare trends impacting the practice.



Supervision:
  • Delegate, direct, and supervise patient care activities.
  • Mentor and train clinical support staff and students.


Community Health Care:
  • Provide professional input in developing community health care plans.


Environment Maintenance:
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and sterile care environment.



Qualifications:
  • Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Experience: Administrative experience in implementing community health programs preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
  • Valid Nebraska driver's license and personal driver's insurance.
  • Current unrestricted medical license and DEA license in Nebraska.
  • Current ACLS certification.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to comply with policies, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.Proficiency in critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills highly desired.Knowledge of health promotion, prevention, and program requirements.
Working Conditions/Environment:
Varied and extended scheduling including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.Smoke-free and drug-free work environment.Exposure to clinic conditions and communicable diseases.
Physical Demands:
Ability to maintain physical condition appropriate for assigned duties.Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.Dexterity required for manipulation of objects and use of equipment.Normal hearing and vision abilities required.Supervisory Responsibilities: None
