Physician - Family Medicine
Job Description
​Position purpose: Provides primary medical care services to pediatric and adult patients – and in some cases OB/GYN patients – in a primarily out-patient setting using primary care concepts, emphasizing prevention of illness and the promotion of health lifestyles. Participates in the program planning of health activities within the Health Center and in the community as requested. Â
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manages ambulatory Family Medicine primary care medical practice by eliciting patient histories, performing physical examinations, providing accurate clinical diagnoses, prescribing evidence-based and cost-effective treatments and providing patient education.
2. Adheres to our Productivity Standard for Physicians of an average of at least 2.7 patient visits per hour of ambulatory time worked.
3. Maintains and promotes patient satisfaction through acknowledgement that environmental, social and cultural factors influence one’s health.Â
4. Participates in Quality Improvement activities of the health center including complete, legible and accurate chart documentation, Peer Review chart audits and reviews, and designated projects.
5. Practices evidence-based, cost-effective primary care in a team-based model.
6. Makes appropriate diagnoses and prescribes appropriate prescriptions and referrals consistent with our medical practice guidelines.
7. Prepares, implements and documents age specific preventative health schedules for pediatric and adult – and in some cases OB/GYN – patients.
8. Builds and maintains a Family Medicine medical practice with follow-up of return appointments and referrals, in-patient management and other methods that assure continuity of care.Â
9. Maintains clinical competency through regular Continuing Medical Education and provides documentation of such to our administration.
10. Maintains liaison with any Partner Hospitals’ medical staff and ambulatory care departments through obtaining and maintaining Hospital Privileges, attendance at department and section meetings, and attending physician teaching duties.Â
11. Takes call for the organizations patients as assigned by the Medical Director.
12. Plays a role in educating and training medical and healthcare professionals, as needed, and accepts and implements teaching assignments of Health Center staff as assigned by the Medical Director.

- Graduate of an Accredited Medical School.Â

Outside the office, she and her husband are busy raising their two kids. Weekends are spent on the football field or baseball field for her son, or at cheerleading and swimming meets for her daughter. Bri’s favorite thing to do outside of being with her family is wine tasting with her husband and doing her crafting hobby.
