We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team.





Position Summary: As a Bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive primary care services to our patient population. With 97% of our patient panel consisting of Spanish speakers, your ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish is crucial. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of individuals and families who face barriers to accessing healthcare services.




Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate.

Deliver patient-centered care, emphasizing health education, counseling, and preventive services to empower patients in managing their health.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and specialists, to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.

Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and promote evidence-based practice.

Stay current with advances in healthcare through continuous professional development, attending relevant conferences, and engaging in educational opportunities.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Active and unrestricted license as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.

Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from a nationally recognized certifying body (e.g., AANP or ANCC).

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients who predominantly speak Spanish.

Experience working with underserved populations, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and understanding of the unique healthcare challenges they face.

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration and building rapport with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and record-keeping.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Bri’s favorite thing to do outside of being with her family is wine tasting with her husband and doing her crafting hobby.
