Position Summary

Bonita House is seeking a Clinical Program Manager / Clinical Supervisor to lead our 16-bed Dual Diagnosis Residential Program. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who is passionate about supporting individuals with co-occurring disorders in a residential setting and committed to a collaborative, mission-driven approach.

The Clinical Program Manager will oversee a multidisciplinary team, provide clinical supervision, and manage program operations to ensure quality and compliance. Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee and supervise a team of therapists and case managers, ensuring adherence to trauma-informed, harm reduction, and strength-based approaches.
  • Conduct and monitor clinical assessments, intake interviews, and individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Manage program operations, including contract, licensing, and quality compliance, in partnership with the Program Director.
  • Facilitate training, staff meetings, and weekly clinical groups to support continuous development and effective service delivery.
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation, including CQRT (Clinical Quality Review Team) processes.
  • Provide crisis management, assess referrals, and maintain program census.




Qualifications
  • Licensed clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD) in California with an advanced degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in mental health and substance use recovery, particularly in dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with a commitment to harm reduction and trauma-informed care.
  • Familiarity with Medi-Cal documentation standards and quality assurance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and crisis management skills.
  • Passion for mission-driven, community-centered work and the principles of recovery and resilience.
